2017 November News

It's all go at this time of the year! We've been working away in the workshop during the day and getting out in the community in these warm spring evenings.

Helping New Zealand Manufacturers Deliver Across the Globe

“Having Myriad Engineering’s help takes the heat off us when we have high workloads. On top of our regular work, Myriad Engineering do a variety of small jobs and short runs that we can’t fit in. They’re always there for us.” - Philip van Pelt, Supply Chain Team Leader, Vega Industries. We enjoy a long term relationship with Vega Industries supplying a wide range of products. Get the Vega story here.

Life Flight Trust Gala Dinner

Recently we attended the very successful inaugural Life Flight Gala dinner. Mark and Fiona enjoyed a lovely evening event in the Kilbirnie Life Flight Hangar. There was entertainment from Tiana So’oialo and an auction which raised an outstanding $77,000! We are so proud of our association with Life Flight as a Community Partner.

SandraDPhotography Our customers are often surprised to see how big our workshop is and marvel at the variety of modern machines we have. So we had professional photographer, Sandra D, come in and take some shots of our team and close ups of the various parts we produce. Sandra was a pleasure to work with, highly professional, with a knack for getting the right shot. We are very happy with the results so expect to see some of her work on our Facebook and LinkedIn soon. Sandra is branching out into website photography and we highly recommend her!

Our New Apprentice

We love giving young people the opportunity to find their potential and hone their skills. Our new Machinist Apprentice, Jack Morris, comes to us following two years at Weltec completing a Diesel Mechanics course. Jack’s proud Gran recently popped in to see him working hard on the CNC machine, a new favourite of his. In his spare time, Jack is a keen rower with the Petone Rowing Club where he recently won the intermediate coxed four and came 3rd place in the double skulls at the Norton Cup rowing regatta. A ‘keen tinkerer’ on his various vehicles, Jack is a friendly and outgoing young man and a welcome addition to our team.

Danny Levi Jr

DannyLeviJrDanny Levi Jr, the son of one of our team, is a successful NRL Rugby League player for Australia's Newcastle Knights. You may remember our previous story about Danny's journey to the field. Now we are thrilled to give you an update! Danny has ticked a huge goal off his bucket list running on for the Kiwis in their World Cup game vs Samoa. We couldn’t be happier to see this young man rewarded for his outstanding commitment to his sport and we were very proud to see him perform superbly on the field. We look forward to following the Kiwis in their World Cup campaign and seeing Danny cement his place on the team.

Christmas is Coming

If we don't see you before the end of the year, we'd like to take this time to wish you a merry Christmas.
